Guarantee and Returns Policy
Our products are guaranteed to give 100% satisfaction. We will gladly refund, replace or exchange any item you purchase provided it is returned to us in unused condition (with tags still attached) within 14 days of your purchase (21 days for international customers).
How to return or exchange:
- There is no need to telephone us when sending us a return or requesting an exchange.
- Please fill out our Return and Exchange Form noting whether you would like an exchange a replacement or a refund. The Return and Exchange Form can be downloaded by clicking here.
- Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest Post Shop. We suggest that you always retain proof of postage. Please note that goods are returned to whippersnapper at your own expense unless we have made an error or caused a problem - then we will, of course, pay for your postage.
- We will write to you confirming that your return has been processed. You can expect to receive your refund credit and/or replacement or exchange goods within two to three weeks after you post the original goods back to us.

Pricing
Prices on this website are shown in New Zealand dollars ($NZD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Any relevant duties or sales taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please also note that exchange rates shown by the 'currency converter' on this website provide a guide only and your credit card will be charged in $NZD and then be converted at the rate determined by your credit card provider.

Our phone order service is open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm and outside of these hours you can leave a message on our answer phone. Fax: Please complete our
Order Form and fax back to us with a credit card authorisation to 09 445 2341. You can fax through your order 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please make sure all the details are printed clearly.

Overseas Orders

Order Confirmation
Once you have sent us your order, you will receive a letter or an email containing an order number, order details, and contact details. If necessary, a
whippersnapper team member will contact you. For instance if an item you selected is unavailable.
Shipping Charges
New Zealand Customers
Our current New Zealand shipping charges are $5 per order.
Australian Customers
Our current Australia shipping charges are NZD$10 per order and are sent airmail insured post to your door or post office box.
United Kingdom and USA Customers
Our current shipping charges are NZD$25 per order and are sent airmail insured post to your door or post office box.
Orders outside of NZ, Australia, UK and USA
For shipping charges for parcels to locations outside of New Zealand, Australia, UK and USA please contact us at info@whippersnapper.co.nz or phone us on +64 9 445 2345 with your country of destination and details of the garments you want to purchase. We will then let you know how much the postage would be for that order.
If you live outside of New Zealand, you might also consider the whippersnapper friends or family purchase method. This is where you order garments and have them delivered to friends or family in New Zealand (by choosing the alternative shipping address at checkout or on the whippersnapper Order Form). They can then on-forward the order to you OR deliver in person when they come and visit you.
Alternatively, you could ask your friends or family to order the goods themselves and have them delivered to their New Zealand address. Again, they could then post them or deliver them to you – or present them as a gift!
Delivery Times and charges
For orders received before 4pm, we aim to send the goods by the following business day.
For New Zealand, our delivery service provides parcel delivery within two to three working days. Please allow one or two extra days for rural delivery.
For Australia, UK and USA please allow seven to ten working days for delivery.
Delivery charges cover packaging, delivery and insurance.

You can check our product pages online to see what sizes and colours for each style are available.
Unfortunately, we cannot ensure permanent availability of all items. If something is out of stock, we'll always give you the best information we can on anticipated delivery dates

whippersnapper swing tag with Waitaki Valley map detail. We think these maps will make great bookmarks in their next life!
When applicable, ‘NZ merino wool’ and ‘Made in New Zealand’ tags are also attached to the garments.
Personalised gifts and gift wrapping
whippersnapper gear makes a great gift for kids in New Zealand and all over the world. If you would like us to gift wrap your items and/or enclose a personalised message, just let us know in the special comments box on your order form (mail-order) or at the checkout (web shopping). We’ll wrap your items, with a personalised message if you have provided one, and send it to the recipient – all for FREE!

PRODUCT GUIDE
WHIPPERSNAPPER FIT AND SIZE CHART
Children come in all different sizes and different countries have different ideas of what a size measures.
We use only high-quality, medium to heavy-weight fabrics and our garments are an easy comfortable fit so the most important indicator of a child's size is their true height (i.e. without wearing shoes).
We recommend you use the chart below to determine the correct size for the child that you are buying for. All measurements are in centimetres. If your height measurement is midway between two sizes, go for the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If in doubt (or you don't have a height measurement) we recommend you play it safe and go for the larger size.
Please note that our cotton/spandex Tanks, Raglan Tees and Layered Tees are slim fitting. If you are in any doubt about the sizing for these garments then we recommend that you go up one age size - better to be a bit big for a little while than too short!

Elasticized waistbands, adjustable waists and belt loops have been added, where necessary, to achieve maximum functionality and allow for a full range of movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our cotton/spandex tanks and tees are sized to allow for shrinkage. Expect these to shrink by approximately 2cm in the first wash. Provided you follow the instructions on the care labels, our merino garments will not shrink and can be worn and washed to your hearts content. These are machine washable in cold or warm water and can be tumble dried on a low heat.
For all of our other garments, care instructions are set out on the care labels.
