ORDERS AND RETURNS

Guarantee and Returns Policy

Our products are guaranteed to give 100% satisfaction. We offer a 365 DAY RETURNS policy. So if for any reason at all you are not happy with your purchase or would like to exchange a product we will fully refund your money or provide an exchange  - no questions asked (though we do ask that goods are returned in original condition).

How to return or exchange:

• There is no need to telephone us when sending us a return or requesting an exchange.

• Please fill out our Return and Exchange Form noting whether you would like an exchange a replacement or a refund. The Return and Exchange Form can be downloaded by clicking here.

• Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest Post Shop. We suggest that you always retain proof of postage. Please note that goods are returned to whippersnapper at your own expense unless we have made an error or caused a problem - then we will, of course, pay for your postage.

• We will write to you confirming that your return has been processed. You can expect to receive your refund credit and/or replacement or exchange goods within two to three weeks after you post the original goods back to us.

Pricing

Prices on this website are shown in New Zealand dollars ($NZD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Any relevant duties or sales taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.

Please also note that exchange rates shown by the 'currency converter' on this website provide a guide only and your credit card will be charged in $NZD and then be converted at the rate determined by your credit card provider.

Order and Payment methods

New Zealand Orders

Our phone order service is open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm and outside of these hours you can leave a message on our answer phone. If you know your customer number, please have this ready when phoning through.

Mail order: Please complete our Order Form and post together with your cheque or credit card details: The Order Form can be downloaded by clicking here

Fax: Please complete our Order Form and fax back to us with a credit card authorisation to 09 445 2341. You can fax through your order 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please make sure all the details are printed clearly.

Internet: Shop online from the comfort of your home. It’s safe, easy and open 24 hours, 7 days a week. At whippersnapper we are committed to protecting your online security and privacy and further information about our security and privacy policies are set out below.

Overseas Orders

Credit card only: We currently accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.  To order from overseas please use our website or call us on +64 9 445 2345 or fax us (using our Order Form) on +64 9 445 2341. The Order Form can be downloaded by clicking here.

Order Confirmation

Once you have sent us your order, you will receive a letter or an email containing an order number, order details, and contact details. If necessary, a whippersnapper team member will contact you. For instance if an item you selected is unavailable.

Shipping Charges

Our shipping charges are at the cost we are charged by our courier/delivery companies or, in many cases, less than we are charged.  We do not pass on the approximate $4 additional charge that we are charged for delivering to rural delivery addresses in New Zealand. 

Our shipping charges are as follows:

New Zealand Customers
Orders are delivered by courier for $6 per order/destination regardless of the number of items ordered.  This is an overnight service in most areas.

Australian Customers
Orders are delivered by courier for $10 per order/destination regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders are sent airmail insured post to your door or post office box.

Rest of World Customers
Orders are delivered by courier for $15 per order/destination regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders are sent airmail insured post to your door or post office box.

 

Delivery Times and charges

For orders received before 4pm, we aim to send the goods by the following business day.

For New Zealand, our delivery service provides parcel delivery within two to three working days. Please allow one or two extra days for rural delivery.

For Rest of World customers please allow seven to ten working days for delivery.

Delivery charges cover packaging, delivery and insurance.

Stock Availability

You can check our product pages online to see what sizes and colours for each style are available.

Unfortunately, we cannot ensure permanent availability of all items. If something is out of stock, we'll always give you the best information we can on anticipated delivery dates

Creating an Account

Creating an account gives you access to time-saving features like express checkout, which stores account information to simplify the order process. When you log in, you will have access to your saved shipping and billing addresses, secure payment information and your order history. You do not need an account to place an order, but it makes shopping at whippersnapper.co.nz even easier and faster. Create an Account

Benefits of snapper club membership

By joining up we can add you to our database and e-mail you competition details, special deals, discounts, advanced previews of new products and speed up your on-line shopping by allowing you to store odder details and multiple shipping addresses.  You can also accumulate and keep track of the Loyalty Points that you earn when shopping with us.

Username

We recommend that you use your email address as your username, so it will be easy to remember. If you do forget your Username, please get in touch with us Contact Us

After checking your identity, a whippersnapper team member will be happy to provide you with your username.

Password

Please choose a password that is at least four characters long. You can reset your password online at anytime.

PRODUCT GUIDE

WHIPPERSNAPPER FIT AND SIZE CHART

Children come in all different sizes and different countries have different ideas of what a size measures.

We use only high-quality, medium to heavy-weight fabrics and our garments are an easy comfortable fit so the most important indicator of a child's size is their true height (i.e. without wearing shoes). 

We recommend you use the chart below to determine the correct size for the child that you are buying for.   All measurements are in centimetres.  If your height measurement is midway between two sizes, go for the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size for a looser fit.  If in doubt (or you don't have a height measurement) we recommend you play it safe and go for the larger size.

Please note that our cotton/spandex Tanks, Raglan Tees and Layered Tees are slim fitting.  If you are in any doubt about the sizing for these garments then we recommend that you go up one age size - better to be a bit big for a little while than too short!

Elasticized waistbands, adjustable waists and belt loops have been added, where necessary, to achieve maximum functionality and allow for a full range of movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Our cotton/spandex tanks and tees are sized to allow for shrinkage. Expect these to shrink by approximately 2cm in the first wash. Provided you follow the instructions on the care labels, our merino garments will not shrink and can be worn and washed to your hearts content. These are machine washable in cold or warm water and can be tumble dried on a low heat.

For all of our other garments, care instructions are set out on the care labels.
